From Words to Screen [02]: Casting news update.

Welcome to the 2nd edition of 'From Words to Screen', a original book to TV or Movie adaption feature.  We'll talk about the newest news in relation to upcoming book adaptions, whether its for television or for the big screen.

Television adaption news:

•  Delirium had their first pilot read through, so I'd imagine they will begin shooting any day now. Photo thanks to Lauren Oliver.
  The cast includes:  Emma Roberts as Lena Holloway, Gregg Sulkin as Julian,  Jeanine Mason as Hana, Daren Kagasoff as Alex, Billy Campbell as Thomas Fineman, Corey Reynolds as Lawrence Task
  

• The Selection has cast Yael Grobglas as it's female lead "America Singer". Michael Malarkey as 'Prince Maxon', Lucien Laviscount as 'Aspen',  Peta Sergeant returning as 'Gaia',  Louise Lombard as Queen Amberly, From Merlin, Anthony Stewart Head as "King Clarkson", Sean Patrick Thomas has reprised his original role of "Sylvan Santos," Sarah Winter as "Ashlee", a contestant.

•  From Stephen King, "Under the Dome," recently started into production late last month and will premiere it's 13-episode order this summer.
  It will also be promoted at Wondercon over Easter weekend -- March 29-31, where there will be a Q&A with the actors.

Movie Adaption news:

• Divergent has added Maggie Q (Nikita), Zoë Kravitz (Mad Max: Fury Road), and Ansel Elgort (Carrie), to the cast.
